Welcome!  You're looking at jewelry crafted in my Portland, Oregon studio using sterling silver, (mostly) natural gemstones, and thoughtfully sourced materials. Each piece is designed to be worn often and treasured for years. You won't find fast fashion here. Many pieces are one of a kind (just like you), so if you see something you love, it is best to act quickly!

Each piece is fabricated by hand using traditional metalsmithing techniques including sawing, soldering, stone setting, and polishing.

Honest Materials. Handmade Craft.

  • recycled silver

  • clearly disclosed gemstones

  • hand fabrication

  • small batch / one of a kind

In every description, you’ll find clear details about the exact materials I use, because your future treasure deserves to be understood, not glossed over with meaningless marketing catchphrases like "waterproof" (newsflash- all metal jewelry is "waterproof".)

The sterling silver I use is sourced from Rio Grande Jewelry Supply, with nearly 100% recycled content.  I source the gemstones I use with care and honesty. If a stone has been heat treated, dyed, lab-grown, or is a high-quality synthetic, I’ll always let you know. I consider integrity a core value.

Take your time browsing, see what speaks to you, and don’t hesitate to reach out if something special is calling but you don’t quite see it here.

PRACTICE
Fluxweed is a one-woman jewelry studio based in Portland, Oregon, where every piece is designed and made by hand. I work primarily with sterling silver and natural gemstones, occasionally incorporating brass, gold accents, and ceramic elements.

STYLE
I love finding harmony in contrasts. I delight in organic geometrics, classic modernism, impactful minimalism. My work is simple yet striking and (I hope) refined.

INSPIRATION
Natural patterns, plants, flowers and daily observations feed my imagination.  I’m also happiest when I’m outside hiking or hanging out with my dogs.

COLOR
Silver grounds my work, but I’m endlessly inspired by color, especially shades of blue, green, and aqua.

ASPIRATION
Above all, I want to create unique, well-crafted jewelry that brings joy and becomes part of your story for years to come.
