Fluxweed Shop Policies
Shipping
We offer free trackable USPS shipping on all orders $75 or over. Please note: All items are handmade, and some are made to order. We will generally ship within a week (2-4 weeks on custom items unless otherwise noted). Expedited shipping will not shorten the lead time, just the shipping time. Make sense?
We currently only ship within the United States.
Returns
We offer returns for refund of original payment method or exchange within 30 days of receiving your order on all undamaged items except custom orders which are not returnable. The customer is responsible for return shipping and insurance costs for both returns or exchanges. You may return without insurance at your own risk. If there is an exchange, Fluxweed Artisan Jewelry will pay the cost to re-ship the item.
Lifelong Repairs
Even the best made jewelry is subject to breakage from accident or extended wear. Fluxweed offers free repair service on metal portions of all jewelry purchased from Fluxweed Artisan Jewelry. Please be aware that larger natural stones may break if dropped, and should be handled with care. Stones are not included in repairs. Contact us to make sure repair is possible, and to get our mailing address. Customer is responsible for all shipping an insurance costs on repair items.
RECYCLED SILVER
The sterling silver I use is sourced from Rio Grande Jewelry Supply, with nearly 100% recycled content. I do not use silver plate or silver fill in any of my jewelry. Some pieces contain fine silver (999) or argentium silver and are described appropriately. FYI, argentium is sterling silver with a bit of germanium added to prevent tarnishing. Pretty cool!
Gemstone Transparency
I source the gemstones I use with care and honesty. If a stone has been heat treated, dyed, lab-grown, or is a high-quality synthetic, I’ll always let you know in the description for each piece. I don't try to trick you into thinking something is other than what it actually is.
No MISLEADING MARKETING
I don't use misleading trendy buzz words like "waterproof" (all metal is waterproof) or "gold" to describe a color rather than a material. I will always tell you the actual metal used in every piece of jewelry, and whether "gold" jewelry is actual gold, gold filled, or brass. When you buy from Fluxweed, you know what you are getting.
Materials and Transparency
Privacy Policy
Fluxweed Artisan Jewelry will never sell, share or otherwise divulge your personal or aggregate information. This includes email addresses. Period. We hate invasive marketing and do not want to contribute to the problem. We will only send you our occasional newsletter if you have specifically signed up for it, and you may unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of the message.
We do however, in the course of business, receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, WIX (our host site) collects the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.
When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated only and will never be shared.
We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.
