Sterling Silver Fern Leaf and Prehnite Earrings

Inspired by hikes in lush Pacific Northwest rainforests, these earrings were made by tracing actual Western sword fern leaves onto silver sheet.  They were then cut out by hand using a jeweler's saw and turned into dangles for two gorgeous oval prehnite gemstones bezel set in sterling silver. 
 
Prehnite is a serene, pale green gemstone prized for its luminous, ethereal glow.   This particular lot has thin needle-like inclusions for a funky organic feel.  The pale yellow green color lends a  calming aesthetic, the next best thing to a walk in the woods. 
 
Earrings hang about 3 inches from top of ear wire.
